Laguna Valley

A community of tech entrepreneurs

I am from La Laguna, and I have always believed in it.

I believe in its people, in their talent, and in their ability to build something extraordinary. For years, I have seen the potential of this region: a strong foundation of universities, young talent in scientific and technological fields, and a resilient identity that knows how to work, create, and move forward despite geographic challenges.

And yet, I have also seen what’s missing: community.

I’ve had the opportunity to be part of tech entrepreneurship ecosystems in other cities, to organize events, and to connect with people who are building the future. That’s where I learned something fundamental: ideas grow faster when they are shared; projects go further when they are connected; and startups don’t start or scale alone — they grow in community.

That’s why I decided to act.

In November 2025, I took the first step to help build a community of tech entrepreneurs named Laguna Valley. Not as a personal project, but as an open, collaborative, and ever-evolving space — a meeting point for those who want to create, innovate, and transform. Since then, dozens of entrepreneurs, investors, and academics have joined with a shared purpose: to connect and build together.

This is not just about startups.
It’s about changing the mindset.
About choosing innovation.
About creating opportunities where none existed before.

It’s about believing that world-changing companies can be built from La Laguna.
That local talent can compete — and stand out — on a global stage.
That we can build from anywhere, but we don’t have to leave to make it happen.

This is a call.

To those building in silence.
To those with an idea but no clear starting point.
To those who want to learn, collaborate, and contribute.

La Laguna has everything it needs to become a technology hub.

But that future won’t build itself.
We will build it.

And it starts today.
